Question - When a tree falls on your shed, garage, house, do you make a claim under your neighbors insurance or your homeowners insurance?

Answer - Insurance for tree damage from falling tree’s generally is claimed under the damaged parties policy. It doesn’t matter who owns the tree, no negligence caused the tree to fall but an “Act of God” (weather caused it). So you may hear some people call it “Act of God” coverage.
